The New Life Neighbourhood Centre (NLNC) aims to pursue its mission of advocating for the community’s economically vulnerable by providing wrap-around and sustained support services to individuals who aim to rebuild their lives.
The NLNC Productivity HUB provides services aimed at supporting individuals for employment readiness and other productive pursuits.

Wrap-around supports for employment readiness and other productive pursuits
Ensures that individuals develop renewed sense of hope and are adequately supported in implementing their life-rebuilding plan.
Skills Training Workshops
Skills training modules on readiness for gainful employment.
- Essential Employability Skills
- Business Plan Preparation
- Practical Life Skills such as managing finances and managing stress
Coaching and Mentoring
One-on-one coaching that will assist individuals in gaining clarity on their life goals, as well as identifying actionable tasks and projects that will sustain their momentum towards self-empowerment.
Coordinating Supports and Resource Centre
Partnership with service providers that will support the transition of participants from poverty to self-sufficiency.

2023 PRODUCTIVITY HUB GRADUATION
2023 was another good year for the Productivity HUB as 12 of its participants completed the foundational supports programs and were provided with their certificate of completion. With this new batch of graduates, the Productivity HUB has helped a total of 44 individuals transition to self-sufficiency, since we launched the program in 2022.
